Health Insurance and Birth Control – Why It’s Not Ideal
Truly, not all policy follow the same rules because there are certain discriminating facts like allowing men to have Viagra but denying women the payment for birth control. This is now a common factor on what seems to be a sexual discrimination in the insurance companies. This only shows that insurance coverage's depends on the type you own.
Some other plans like the group health insurance plan can pay for the birth control of their female staffs. This type of insurance is bought by companies for their employees. Securing birth control is of an advantage to them because the coverage includes pregnancy but avoiding pregnancy brings down the costs. But individual plans bought directly from the insurance companies do not.
